Software Developer – Application

Design and develop application software to automate reporting processes for different industries using the latest front‑end and middleware technologies, integrating with various backend systems.

Build dashboards and analytical solutions that retrieve and transform data from structured and unstructured sources, feeding data to business applications such as K‑12 Analytics, Payment Systems, Supply Chain, and Performance Measurement.

Gather requirements from business users for the CRM Portal application to maintain customer preferences and activities, visualizations, and analytics.

Manage report and application server recycling, backup, and restore of volumes, and monitor server load and stress with product‑specific tools.

Migrate and upgrade applications, reports, and databases between platforms to the latest versions.

Build interfaces with backend systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Cassandra, and Athena, and extend Qlik Sense and Rapid Miner with additional features.

Integrate dashboards with products including , Power School, Ren Web, Aspen, and custom applications using SOAP and Web Services APIs.

Key technologies include C#, .NET, T‑SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, JSON, CSS, JavaScript, SDLC, MS Visio, Trello, and MS Project.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client projects, focusing on functional analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and integration of projects for a new data warehouse and analytics platform. The role involves collaborating with developers, analysts, and end‑users to deliver industry‑leading solutions.

• Act as internal expert and communication lead to technology and business groups, enabling and supporting the adoption of solutions by product teams.
• Build strong relationships with product stakeholders, analysts, and developers across multiple locations.
• Demonstrate outstanding drive and focus on delivering capabilities to the business and technology leadership team.
• Provide oversight and coordination for effective and timely resolution of technology‑related issues across business functions.
• Demonstrate sound decision making reflecting an understanding of the client’s business and priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• A BS/BA degree or higher.
• 10+ years of business systems analysis or design experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners.
• 3+ years of experience with SDLC tools.
• 3+ years of SQL experience.
