Position: POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY

Duties

Help

  • Manages, administers, and implements requirements per DoD 4525.8M, Department of Defense Official Mail Manual, and DOD 4525.6-M, Department of Defense Postal Manual.
  • Serves as the primary Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) responsible for the comprehensive administration, technical oversight, and quality assurance of the Official Mail Contract.
  • Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
  • Serves as Classified Control Officer and is the central accountability and control point for Classified Material received or dispatched by all service organizations.
  • As Passport Agent, will review the application for proper completion, presentation of documentary evidence of birth in the United States or naturalization, and record the evidence submitted for proof of identity.
