our client has a brand new opportunity for a qualified level 1 technician to join their team onsite in bedford, ma.

duties and responsibilities
  • set up and configure employee workstations, including:
    • docking stations
    • monitors
    • cables and peripherals
  • verify proper functionality of workstation equipment prior to employee use
  • troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues related to:
    • docking stations
    • monitors and display settings
    • keyboard and mouse peripherals
    • power and cable connections
  • respond to employee requests for assistance when equipment is not functioning correctly
  • perform basic cable management and workstation organization
  • escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate support teams
  • maintain a professional and customer-focused presence while supporting end users
  • document and communicate recurring issues or equipment concerns to project leadership
skills and qualifications
  • previous experience in desktop support, field services, help desk, or technical support roles preferred
  • experience setting up and troubleshooting:
    • desktop and laptop hardware
    • peripheral devices
  • basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • understanding of workstation connectivity and cable management
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 lbs.
wage range

the rate for this position is between $18.70- $22.00
per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
