Position: Supply Chain & Operations Specialist (Full-Time, On-Site)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Operations Specialist to support our expanding North America operations. This full-time, on-site role is critical to ensuring efficient daily operations, accurate inventory management, strong vendor coordination, and dependable supply chain execution. You will partner closely with internal teams, global colleagues, suppliers, and logistics partners to uphold operational excellence across commercial, service, and laboratory functions.

This position is based in the United States and works closely with our supply chain team in Denmark. Due to time zone differences, candidates should be comfortable with an earlier workday to support effective cross-continental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Management
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including purchasing, inbound logistics, and inventory replenishment.
  • Maintain and refine planning tools, trackers, and documentation to ensure visibility of parts, consumables, and equipment.
  • Monitor departmental supply levels and proactively prevent shortages, delays, or overstock situations.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and supply chain alignment activities.
Vendor Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S.

    -based suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
  • Manage contracts and supplier administration, including oversight of key and high-value agreements.
  • Track vendor performance, resolve discrepancies, and maintain professional communication.
  • Evaluate vendor quality, responsiveness, and cost efficiency; elevate and drive improvements as needed.
Logistics & Shipping
  • Coordinate domestic and cross-border shipments, including parcel, freight, and palletized instrumentation.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation in compliance with carrier requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to tariff regulations and import/export processes.
  • Oversee inbound receiving operations and maintain organized, accurate records of all incoming materials.
  • Manage the shipment flow of consumables within the U.S.
Inventory Control
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and full monthly audits; reconcile variances and maintain accurate system records.
  • Keep storerooms and stock areas clean, organized, and audit-ready.
  • Align inventory activities with global planning and forecasting standards.
  • Oversee lab inventory, parts, and demo equipment.
Operations Support
  • Support North American facility and office operations.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, including PO creation and vendor invoice processing.
  • Maintain operational data across systems (e.g., Navision, Salesforce, shared trackers, asset records).
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, vendor management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, procurement cycles, and logistics workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, One Note, Power BI).
  • Experience with Navision is a plus.
  • Direct experience working with vendors and logistics providers (parcel and freight).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to support multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Bedford, MA
