You’ll shape logistics strategy for critical space radar systems supporting national defense. Your work directly impacts readiness and effectiveness of next-generation DoD capabilities, ensuring warfighters receive operational support when they need it.

Responsibilities
  • Be the trusted logistics advisor — craft and deliver expert ILS solutions for advanced systems, influencing sustainment decisions and system suitability.
  • Design operational excellence — perform technical analysis and evaluate operational scenarios to ensure systems achieve real-world suitability.
  • Lead and coordinate all logistics functions — cover maintenance strategy, training programs, procurement, supply chain visibility, packaging, handling, and CONUS/OCONUS transportation.
  • Plan with precision — align funding, manpower, materiel, and facilities with program schedules for flawless execution.
  • Deliver data-informed insight — provide analytics on logistics metrics (supply levels, reliability, maintainability) for major logistics reviews.
  • Apply DoD acquisition expertise — leverage knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle and product support planning under DoD 5000-series.
  • Drive sustainment readiness — conduct Logistics Health Assessments (LHAs), develop Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), and contribute to technical requirements and documentation.
  • Lead logistics at key technical events — represent logistics leadership at TIMs, design reviews, provisioning briefs, IPT discussions, working groups, and staff reviews.
  • Collaborate across teams — work with government and contractor logistics personnel, integrators, and product support teams on maintenance strategies and acquisition planning.
  • Be ready to mobilize — travel domestically and internationally to support logistics efforts at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Will perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience executing ILS support for DoD Acquisition programs.
  • Self-starter with ability to translate broad guidance into detailed actions; adaptable in a fluid environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills with ability to build consensus in government/contractor teams.
  • General understanding of DoD Space Operations and Space Systems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must hold an active Top-Secret Clearance
  • 12 years of directly relevant experience, or BA/BS with 8 years of experience, with 5 (or
    4) years in the DoD respectively

The annual salary range: $145k - $160k. Salary is dependent upon role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, training, and key skills.
