General Summary
:
Individuals in this position will complete janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping or maintenance tasks. Two vacancies available on the Bedford Campus for part-time assistance in facilities operations.
- Completes in-house demolition work
- Cleans and maintains safe work areas
- Loads, unloads, and cleans vehicles
- Removes trash and recyclables
- Paints and refreshes spaces after construction
- Operates motor vehicles
- Assists craftspeople performing building and grounds maintenance
- Sweeps floors and sidewalks, rakes leaves, and operates grounds maintenance equipment
- Maintains clean and safe work areas
- Assists in beautification of campus grounds
- Performs other duties as required
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to understand and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards and guidelines governing assigned unit activities
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolds
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
Salary
: $18.25 per hour in accordance with the College’s Part-Time Wage Schedule
Location

Bedford campus with occasional travel to Lowell as needed
Hours
:
Not to exceed 20 hours per week; exact schedule to be determined upon hire with a 6:30 a.m. start time
