Duties- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- Develops, coordinates, and implements activities, programs, and special events, consistent with program objectives and in accordance with health, safety, and security standards for the School Age Care program.
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the School Age Care program ensuring that the program complies with legal and regulatory requirements, and meets customer needs.
- Monitors training of staff and volunteers according to established policies and procedures.
- Represents the School Age Care program with a veriety of installation and functional area organizations.
- U.S. Citizenship is required

- The position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
- Disclosure of Political Appointments
- Relocation costs or other incentives may be available and considered by the organization.
- Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) by military or commercial aircraft approximately 5 days per year.
- Selectee is expected to be granted with and/or maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the position.
- Selectee may be required to serve a probationary or trial period
- Background checks are required.
- IAW AFI 34-144 and DoD certification requirements, a pre-employment physical examination with a renewal at least every 3 years and specified immunizations are required.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain Food Handler’s, First Aid, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications and complete additional training requirements IAW AF and DoD guidance
- The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Incumbent must possess and be able to maintain an appropriate, valid driver’s license. An annual driving record check is required.
- The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use IAW AFI 90-508, Attachment 2, Category I, Type 2:
Motor Vehicle Operators. - At a minimum, meet qualification requirements stipulated by the US Office of Personnel Management for the 1701 occupational series.
- Must complete applicable Virtual Lab School (VLS) courses IAW AF and DoD guidance.
- Incumbent may occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours to include weekends, holidays and evenings. Incumbent may be required to work a split shift to meet supervisory or program requirements.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Physical Required due to heavy lifting, extended periods of standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.
