Electronics Technician
Summary
The Test Technician I is responsible for building product and operating balance test fixtures and ensuring quality of products in our Ball bearing production line. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Ball bearing team to meet production targets and ensure products are assembled and tested to the highest quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities- Support completion of order test fulfillment and daily production scheduling as established by supervisor.
- Perform inspections of products and properly identify non-conformances.
- Complete tuning and calibration of systems to customer specifications.
- Operate test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM) accurately and safely.
- Proactively identify and report potential issues in the assembly process to the Principal Technician/Manufacturing Engineer.
- Detect and diagnose basic malfunctions of galvos and servos.
- Complete packaging of systems, including printing labels and packaging.
- Collaborate with team members to suggest and implement process improvement activities.
- Support 5S initiatives through cleanliness of workstations and related projects.
- Interpret test results and plots, and identify basic failure modes.
- Follow site requirements for disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous waste.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology, or related areas.
- 0–2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment and/or as an electronics technician.
- Ability to read and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and learn different testing requirements.
- Strong teamwork, computer, written, verbal, and communication skills.
- Experience with ESD and 5S principles.
- Basic oscilloscope use, safety, and chemical awareness.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Safe and proper use of hand tools.
- Completion of an electronics apprenticeship or an electronics degree from a technical college.
- Previous experience with opto-electronics and PCB commodities.
- Knowledge of coated mirrors and lenses.

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
CompensationThe salary for this role will range from $39,490 to $63,140 annually, based on full-time employment. Salary offers are based on factors including location, relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
