Machine Operator, Thur-Sat + Wed

Job Title:

Machine Operator, Thur-Sat + every other Wed, 6 am to 6:30 pm

The Manufacturing operator position is responsible for operating and maintaining UPE Membrane equipment and performing tasks such as extrusion, extraction, annealing, surface modification, inspecting, trimming, and packaging membrane products. The operator also performs other duties as assigned.

• Verify product visually and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure product consistency with established specifications.
• Escalate quality issues as appropriate.
• Adhere to Entegris quality system, ISO, and other standards.
• Perform various operations on the product line according to work orders and process record instructions.
• Finalize all required paperwork promptly (e.g., Production Reports, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP transactions).
• Complete hour‑by‑hour sheets on manufacturing processes as required.
• Integrate key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness, and product/system quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail and basic math/computational skills.
• Proficient computer data entry skills.
• Ability to lift 50lb, climb a 4‑ft ladder, walk and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Physical ability to pinch, grasp, twist, bend, and reach repeatedly.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
