The Planet Group has partnered with a Boston area company to locate an Automation Solutions Architect to join a high-impact enterprise transformation initiative.
This is a hands‑on consulting opportunity for a senior automation professional who can assess business processes, design scalable automation solutions, and help establish best practices for enterprise‑wide automation.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, bringing experience designing automation strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Partner with business and technology teams to identify and evaluate automation opportunities across the organization.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions that align with business objectives.
- Lead the architecture and technical design of automation initiatives from discovery through implementation.
- Establish automation governance, standards, and operating models to support long‑term success.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, development teams, and third‑party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Provide technical leadership throughout implementation while promoting adoption and organizational change.
- Ensure automation solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend process improvements and automation strategies that drive measurable business value.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying new opportunities for intelligent automation and operational efficiency.
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise automation solutions.
- Demonstrated experience serving as an Automation Architect, Solution Architect, or similar technical leadership role.
- Hands‑on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms and enterprise automation technologies.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and enterprise architecture.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Experience establishing or supporting an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Background working within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, financial services, or manufacturing.
