Production Lead Operator IV Weekday

Position Summary

The Production Lead Operator is responsible for assisting the Production Manager/Supervisor in achieving production requirements for work groups or product line work cells by focusing on safety, service, and quality. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating workflow, supporting employee training, providing guidance, motivating staff, coordinating assignments and breaks, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Expedite production of priority jobs to ensure on‑time delivery for customers.
• Assist in identifying and recommending procedures for scrap reduction.
• Review completed work orders for accuracy, resolve inaccuracies, and use ERP (SAP preferred) to monitor workflow and production goals.
• Coordinate employee assignments and breaks for work area personnel.
• Apply technical expertise to set up, tear down, operate equipment, test, and inspect products.
• Ensure daily check‑lists and tasks are completed.
• Collaborate with planning, materials, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing/delivery issues and develop new processes.
• Provide recognition to employees and conduct training for effective performance.
• Address performance issues proactively and conduct shift meetings and mandatory training.
• Promote continuous improvement tools such as 6S, Kaizen, and other value‑elimination activities.
• Recommend safety improvements, enter EHS submissions, and participate in Gemba walks, JSA audits, and quality defect investigations.
• Ensure quality parts are produced and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Monitor employee performance for safety compliance, cleanliness, and hazard mitigation.
• Display a “LEAD BY EXAMPLE” attitude and uphold Entegris PACE values.
• Handle additional responsibilities as they arise in production areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math, and computer data entry skills.
• Proficiency with measuring devices, hand tools, and safety equipment.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 4 ft., and stand, walk, and reach throughout an entire shift.
• Capability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
• Clear vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Effective communication skills for reading simple instructions and short correspondence.

• Stand for long periods and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Move throughout the department/facility, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

• Manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and moderate to high noise levels.
• Potential exposure to metal powders, isopropyl alcohol, and DI water.
• Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and possibly bunny suit or other garments depending on the work area.
