Packaging Operator, 2nd shift (2:00pm‑10:30pm, Monday‑Friday)
The Manufacturing Operator position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and performing tasks such as inspecting, data collection, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembling and packaging. The operator also completes other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Verify product visually and take corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure product is consistent with established specifications.
- Escalate quality issues as appropriate.
- Ensure highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
- Ensure all product is packaged per packaging specifications.
- Perform various operations on the product in accordance with work orders and instructions.
- Finalize all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (e.g., Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions).
- Maintain accurate attribute/variable charts of rejected materials.
- Conduct variable charts on manufacturing processes and count of good product as required.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support larger organization and production goals.
- Integrate on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality.
- Promote and implement use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non‑value activities.
- Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6S, Kaizen events, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform duties in a safe manner and observe approved safety procedures.
- Communicate potential hazards immediately to supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Ability to work off‑shift (2nd shift).
- Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic math calculation and computer data entry skills.
- Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools.
- Physical capabilities: lift up to 50lbs., climb a ladder up to 15ft., walk and stand during the entire shift, repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, twist, bend, reach upward, handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
- All employees go through 30‑day on‑the‑job training in a fast‑paced, hard‑working environment.

- Ability to work in different environments and multiple locations.
- Pay range: $21/hr‑$24/hr (dependent on experience).
