Who You Are
Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions is preferred. Experience working in a residential group setting is a plus. Basic computer skills — MS Word, Outlook preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license is required.
CPR certification is required within the first three months of hire.
$30.60 per hour
What You Will DoThe LPN will work with a team including a Registered Nurse, Residential Managers and staff to ensure the health of the individuals in the home. Responsibilities include the implementation of ISP objectives and healthcare plans. This may include assisting with tube feeding and tube medication administration, wound care, catheter and ostomy care, diabetes management, attending medical appointments, participating in ADL skill development, etc.
The LPN will also participate in other duties as directed by Residential Management staff.
