OverviewPosition Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of senior level technical and administrative duties in the production of complex assemblies and instruments involving electrical, mechanical and chemical processes. Participates in preparation and tracking of production and quality objectives; participates in data collection.
Responsibilities Key AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:
- Uses complex test equipment and performs highly technical procedures. Works from specifications, schematics and written/verbal instructions.
- Trains and advises less experienced technicians in appropriate troubleshooting and corrective action to prevent recurrence. Determines and recommends resources required to assist in resolution of problems.
- Provides input to the Tearn Leader for technical problems.
- Maintains the 5S policy in their work area.
- Ensures proper compliance with all standards and Werfen procedures.
- Ensures that daily cycle count takes place.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Maintains test fixtures and/or calibrating fixtures

- Vocational/Technical diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in comparable working environment.
- This position requires the ability to lift and move materials per current OSHA standards.
