The Opportunity
Executive Jet Management (EJM) is welcoming a returning account and seeking a seasoned Pilot in Command to captain a Global 5000. In this leadership role, you will exercise final authority for safe, compliant, and efficient operations while delivering an exceptional service experience to owners and passengers across domestic and European missions.
What you’ll do- Serve as PIC with final responsibility for safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Plan and execute Part 91/135 flights, including international segments to Europe, ensuring meticulous flight preparation and risk management.
- Lead within a 3‑pilot model and collaborate closely with a dedicated Maintenance Technician to maintain aircraft readiness.
- Deliver a polished, owner‑focused service experience throughout every phase of flight.
- Uphold company SOPs, manuals, and policies while maintaining thorough records and documentation.
- Non-Type Rated applicants welcome — type training provided.
- Stable utilization at ~450 hours annually with 30% European travel.
- Supportive infrastructure of a Berkshire Hathaway company and a dedicated maintenance resource.
- License: ATP (Accepted Licenses: FAA)
- Medical:
Class 1 - Total Time: 3,500 hours
- PIC Time: 2,000 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 1,500 hours (including 500 hours Multi‑Engine PIC)
- Jet Time: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Charter
Experience:
Prior Part 135 charter operations experience - Type Rating:
Not required — training provided (NTR) - Residency:
Must reside in or relocate to the Denver area
- Type Rating: FAA type rating in BD‑700 Vision (strongly preferred)
- Aircraft Base:
Bedford, MA (KBED) - Residency Requirement:
Denver area - Travel Mix: ~70% domestic / ~30% international (primarily Europe)
Annual flight hours are approximately 450 (about 350 hours Part 91 and about 100 hours Part 135).
