Challenger 650 Captain – KBED; Bedford, MA)

About the role

As Captain, you will lead safe and prudent operation of the Challenger 650, ensuring meticulous preparation, compliance with company procedures and applicable FARs, and an exceptional experience for passengers. You will be entrusted with the aircraft, crew, and client safety from briefing to block-in.

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Challenger 650, protecting passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and discrepancies prior to each flight.
• Conduct complete pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan routes and alternates; check weather, NOTAMs, and facilities along the route and at destination/alternate airports.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation procedures and applicable FARs.
• Accurately complete all trip documentation and operational paperwork.

• Minimum 3,000 hours total time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine (MEL), including 500 hours MEL PIC.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Current first-class medical.
• Type rating in the Challenger 650 or a comparable aircraft.
• On-call availability and ability to complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KBED, or willingness to relocate.
