The Associate II, Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing daily warehousing and logistics activities including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of material(s) in a cGMP environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Loading and unloading trucks via material handling equipment.
- Receiving inbound material including breakdown of pallets, labeling, and processing inbound Purchase Orders utilizing Ocular Therapeutix's ERP system.
- Accurately storing materials in designated storage locations physically and within the ERP system.
- Collaborating with Quality Assurance/Quality Control on the release of incoming materials requiring inspection.
- Fulfilling material requests to Manufacturing, Engineering, Development, and other departments.
- Transacting material movements within the ERP system.
- Initiating and/or collaborating on Non‑Conforming Material Reports and Deviation documentation related to warehousing & logistics.
- Preparing material for outbound shipping including packaging, labeling, scheduling/coordination of truck pickups, processing small parcel shipments, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Performing cycle counts, restocking consumables, and maintaining accurate inventory of cGMP and non‑cGMP material.
- Assisting in identifying and resolving inventory issues.
- Maintaining compliance with cGMP regulations, EHS safety standards, and company policies at all times.
- High School Diploma with 2-4 years of warehouse experience.
- Effective communication with multiple departments.
- Demonstrable experience in Good Documentation Practices.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in an environment of frequent changes.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive issues to closure.
- Self‑starter, hands‑on with projects and assignments.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping.
- Experience utilizing Fed Ex Ship Manager and/or UPS Worldship.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, QAD or other ERP systems.
Hourly Pay: $25.50 - $28.85 USD.
