Accounting Controller

Bedford, NH (Onsite) Inte Pros is seeking an Accounting Controller to join a growing pharmaceutical and packaging manufacturing company in Bedford, NH. This leadership role will oversee the full accounting function while partnering closely with operations to drive financial performance, process improvements, and compliance.

• Lead and develop the accounting team, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee cost accounting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and billing.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Partner with operations to improve financial processes and enhance ERP systems.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Define and track departmental KPIs while driving continuous process improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of Controller experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting and GAAP.
• Experience leading financial audits and working with external auditors.
• ERP experience (JDE, QAD, or similar) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
