Position: New Morning Schools - School Age Team Member

Summary

At New Morning Schools, we strive to provide consistent, high-quality childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire! Your time at the before and after school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours.

Your goal each day should be to check in with each child, even if it’s just to say hello. Children look up to our Team Members as role models, and we want you to make a difference! So, if you are looking to have just as much fun as the kids, come join our team!

  • Our off‑site School Age Programs are located in Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Dunbarton, Hooksett, Manchester, Milford and Weare, NH
  • Hours available are between 6:30‑8:30 am and/or 2:00‑6:00 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Flexible and part‑time schedules are available
Positions include
  • Assistant Group Leaders
  • Group Leaders
  • Program Administrators
  • Site Directors
  • Site Coordinators
  • Sub/Travelers
Duties

For each position, duties will vary, but everyone is responsible for:

  • Helping maintain a safe environment for children and staff
  • Encouraging positive behavior guidance
  • Greeting parents and children daily
  • Helping to train new staff members as needed
  • Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office
  • Following the day‑to‑day staff assignments
  • Communicating with the office when needed
  • Substituting for staff at another location if needed
Requirements
  • Assistant Group Leaders – no experience needed
  • Group Leaders and Program Administrators – 600 hours of experience working with children OR 3 college credits in the ECE/EDU field
  • Site Directors and Site Coordinators – 1,000‑2,000 hours of experience with 6‑12 college credits in ECE/EDU OR an associate’s degree or higher in the education or recreational field
Nice To Haves
  • 1‑2+ years experience working with school‑age children
  • CPR/First aid certified – we will train if not currently certified
