** is hiring a
** Contracting Site Superintendent** ! The Contracting Site Superintendent is responsible for leading day-to-day field execution of assigned projects and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the quality standards established by Trane and the customer. This role serves as the primary on-site contact for project stakeholders and works closely with the Project Manager to coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, documentation, and customer communication.
The Contracting Site Superintendent helps drive successful project delivery through strong field leadership, planning, accountability, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

* What you will do:

* + Lead day-to-day on-site execution of assigned HVAC and construction projects.
+ Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
+ Coordinate site activities to support safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
+ Support Project Managers in planning assigned projects and prioritizing field activities.
+ Create, maintain, and communicate short-term project schedules and look-ahead plans.
+ Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
+ Supervise and direct project installation technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
+ Review scopes of work and coordinate activities between trades to avoid conflicts and delays.
+ Monitor project progress and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
+ Support procurement activities by identifying, reviewing, and coordinating required project materials.
+ Perform site surveys, replacements, modifications, and coordinate start-up, and commissioning activities as needed.
+ Ensure quality installation of assigned projects and verify systems are fully functional at the end of each shift, when applicable.
+ Identify and communicate project risks related to safety, schedule, budget, quality, and site conditions.
+ Support change order management by identifying field issues, recommending solutions, and coordinating required documentation.
+ Draft and maintain field documentation such as daily reports, progress updates, photos, production tracking, and related project records.
+ Complete and submit required paperwork, reports, and project documentation in a timely manner.
+ Conduct regular site walks to assess progress, quality, safety, housekeeping, and coordination.
+ Maintain clean, organized, and customer-compliant jobsites, including end-of-shift housekeeping expectations.
+ Administer and reinforce site safety requirements, including inspections, toolbox talks, and site-specific safety plans.
+ Maintain accountability for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and procured materials.
+ Provide and or coordinate technical support and field coordination to customers and internal teams on assigned projects.
+ Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns, communicating proactively, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with internal contracting processes, company policies, and applicable site requirements.
+ Attend planning and coordination meetings on a regular basis.
+ Demonstrate leadership by holding project teams accountable, motivating others, and promoting a strong team environment.
+ Support continuous improvement and stay current on Trane products, systems, and installation practices.
+ Maintain flexibility to work overtime or travel occasionally, including overnight stays, based on business and project needs.

* + High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Typically 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, mechanical construction, or general construction required.
+ Previous experience leading field teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing on-site project execution preferred.
+ Technical school training or formal trade training preferred.
+ Working knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, mechanical layouts, and construction site coordination.
+ Ability to read and interpret project schedules, plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
