Preschool Program Facilitator
Bedford School District is seeking an experienced individual to facilitate all aspects of the preschool program. This position is on a teacher contract/calendar year. Facilitates all new preschool referrals (BEEP). Oversees all preschool procedures including compliance and paperwork. Monitors IEP plan implementation and is responsible for the supervision, staffing, and evaluation of preschool paraprofessional staff. Represents the Bedford School District as the Local Education Agency (LEA Representative) at special education meetings and provides input to the team.
Facilitates the enrollment of students without disabilities and their placement in the BEEP program. Works in conjunction with the district's intensive needs program to ensure alignment between the two programs, smooth transitions for students and families, and collaboration among staff and families.
