We're hiring a dedicated Paraprofessional (Para Educator) for an onsite assignment in Rockingham County, New Hampshire

This opportunity supports a K-8 inclusion classroom
, providing individualized student support in communication, access to academics, and school participation. In this role, you'll collaborate with teachers and specialists to help students with disabilities fully participate in classroom activities while promoting independence and success.

Position Details:
  • Location: Onsite -
    - Rockingham County, NH
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Weekly

    32.5 hours/week
  • School Year:
  • Grade Levels: K-8
Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-class and small-group support to help students access instruction and participate in daily learning activities.
  • Support students with communication, academic tasks, and classroom routines using teacher-directed strategies and accommodations.
  • Help implement supports and accommodations aligned to student plans (as directed by the supervising teacher/special education team).
  • Assist with collecting basic observations/data (as requested) to support progress monitoring.
  • Promote positive behavior and help with de-escalation strategies using positive reinforcement and consistent routines.
  • Support transitions and supervise students during non-instructional times as assigned (arrival/dismissal, hallway transitions, lunch/recess).
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and specialists to maintain an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Ability to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusion setting
  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow teacher/school directions and confidentiality expectations
