Haigh-Farr is seeking a RF Engineer with experience or education in the design and development of antennas and their support equipment. Our core antenna technologies include, but are not limited to, stripline and microstrip. The individual will work closely with colleagues and customers to identify RF hardware requirements and create new designs as well as support customer proposals for new projects.
We are seeking an engineer who will lead advances in existing technology and push new RF technology to help expand our product offerings. Qualified engineers will support design, performance verification and fabrication.
- Antenna design from initial concept through prototype development, production and test.
- Communicate with customers to determine operational requirements and create designs that meet or exceed those needs.
- Provide manufacturing and test support, including RF and Environmental testing (vibration, shock, thermal and thermal vacuum are all done in house).
- Contribute to proposal creation and customer presentations.
- Contribute to multiple unique and custom projects.
- Some travel may be required.
- Hands on learning environment where engineers are involved in all aspects of antenna design, production and test including: business development, design, manufacture, test, and customer support.

- BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Proficient in HFSS, ADS, MATLAB (or similar antenna simulation tools)
- 5+ years' experience in the design and test of RF components, however new graduates will be considered
- U.S. citizenship required, must have the ability to obtain or maintain DoD SECRET clearance
