Digital Design Engineer

Alexander Technology Group is hiring a Digital Design Engineer / Software Engineer/Developer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. This on‑site role offers a competitive salary of $140,000–$160,000 and is located in Bedford, New Hampshire.

• Design, develop, simulate, test, and document FPGA‑based systems
• Develop FPGA code using System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL
• Troubleshoot and optimize designs for speed, power, and performance
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration
• Build and maintain FPGA development tools and processes
• Produce technical documentation and support system integration efforts
• Resolve technical issues while meeting project schedules and customer requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Strong knowledge of System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL
• Experience with simulation tools such as Model Sim or Vivado XSim (UVM experience is a plus)
• Programming experience with C/C++ and Python
• Experience with Git and digital signal processing is preferred
• Familiarity with high‑speed interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, Aurora, or Multi‑Gigabit SERDES
• Experience with AMD/Xilinx Vivado is a plus
• Comfortable using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
