CAAD Technician

Insight Global is seeking a CADD Technician to support power delivery projects within the utilities space. This individual will play a key role in producing and updating detailed engineering drawings for substation, transmission, and distribution systems. Working closely with engineers, you’ll help translate technical designs into high-quality CAD documentation while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. $18/hr to $25/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. • 0–5 years of CAD/drafting experience
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station
• Utility industry experience (substation, transmission, or distribution)
• Experience using Bluebeam for markup reviews

• Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD tools
• Support design work across substation, transmission, and distribution projects
• Review and incorporate PDF markups using Bluebeam
• Prepare layouts, sketches, and technical drawings
• Collaborate with engineers on project deliverables
• Manage multiple active project assignments simultaneously
