Insight Global is seeking a CADD Technician to support power delivery projects within the utilities space. This individual will play a key role in producing and updating detailed engineering drawings for substation, transmission, and distribution systems. Working closely with engineers, you’ll help translate technical designs into high-quality CAD documentation while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Compensation$18/hr to $25/hr exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins itionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
REQUIREDSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must-Haves:
- 0–5 years of CAD/drafting experience
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station
- Utility industry experience (substation, transmission, or distribution)
- Experience using Bluebeam for markup reviews
- Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD tools
- Support design work across substation, transmission, and distribution projects
- Review and incorporate PDF markups using Bluebeam
- Prepare layouts, sketches, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with engineers on project deliverables
- Manage multiple active project assignments simultaneously
