Seeking a Vascular Technologist / Vascular Sonographer for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. • Perform vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians.
• Perform non-invasive hemodynamic evaluations and write test results.
• Schedule patients for procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Position patients and select the appropriate transducer.
• Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by moving the scanner over the specified body area and adjusting equipment to focus.
• Perform exams properly and in a timely manner.
• Takes patient history and retrieves previous files.
• Coordinate patient flow and check daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
• Maintain equipment.
• Order and stock all supplies.
• Maintain department records, reports and files.

Must read and understand and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures.

Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.

• No education requirements.

• Minimum one year experience as an ultrasound tech/sonographer.

• Must hold one or more of the following credentials:
  Registered Vascular Tech, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in accordance with state regulation and clinical specialty.
• Must have certification through ARDMS or ARRT.
