We are seeking a Practice Director / Program Lead – Connected Systems—a senior, business-minded technical leader who can build trusted client relationships, lead large and complex product development efforts, and help grow strategic accounts. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical credibility, strong consulting instincts, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to VP, CTO, and C‑suite leadership.

This is not a narrow delivery role, nor is it a purely internal leadership position. It offers the opportunity to operate at the intersection of engineering leadership, client partnership, and business growth.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Build and strengthen our connected systems capabilities, including server-side software, data management, networking, and integration
• Lead meaningful engagements with leading medtech companies
• Shape software‑intensive, systems‑driven product and platform development efforts
• Work across the full product development lifecycle, from requirements through FDA submission
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, not just a delivery leader
• Lead multidisciplinary teams spanning software, systems, electronics, industrial design, human factors, mechanical engineering, and V&V
• Expand client relationships through strong delivery, insight, and trust
• Influence technical practices, talent development, and long‑term organizational growth

As Practice Director for Connected Systems, you will help strengthen internal capabilities, technical standards, talent development, and market reputation.

In parallel, as a Program Lead, you will serve as the senior technical leader and primary client partner for major development programs that are heavily software‑focused. These efforts often involve connected product architectures, cybersecurity, data management, cloud technologies, and intelligent platform capabilities that are increasingly central to medtech innovation.

This role requires someone who combines strong technical judgment, cross‑functional leadership, consulting skills, and business acumen. You should be equally comfortable discussing architecture with engineers, navigating program tradeoffs, and building confidence with senior client leaders.

• Serve as the senior technical and delivery leader for major client programs
• Lead architecture, system design, and key engineering decisions across complex multidisciplinary programs
• Partner with Program Managers on scope, budget, schedule, risk, and delivery
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders from engineering leadership through executive teams
• Lead cross‑functional teams across systems, software, cloud, cybersecurity, human factors, mechanical, electrical, and V&V disciplines
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, compliant product designs suitable for regulated environments and FDA submission
