Aventura at Walton Hills Aventura at Walton Hills is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager to join our team. The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and financial functions of the facility while ensuring accurate records, timely billing, and excellent customer service.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the business office and ensure efficient administrative processes.

  • Oversee resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, and payment processing.

  • Maintain accurate resident financial records and ensure information is updated as needed.

  • Assist with Medicaid, Medicare, private-pay, and other payer-related billing and documentation.

  • Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on unpaid balances.

  • Work closely with residents and families regarding billing questions, account balances, payment arrangements, and financial documentation.

  • Process admissions, discharges, and changes in resident financial status accurately and timely.

  • Maintain organized financial and administrative records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare reports and provide financial information to facility leadership as needed.

  • Collaborate with the Administrator, corporate billing team, nursing department, social services, and other departments to resolve account issues.

  • Assist with audits and ensure required documentation is complete and readily available.

  • Handle confidential resident and financial information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Support payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, and other office functions as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and applicable long-term care requirements.

Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in a business office, healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, or related environment
    .

  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing, and accounts receivable is highly preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized billing/accounting systems.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with facility leadership and staff.
