Step into a rewarding contract role that makes a true difference in the lives of students. This position is perfect for a School Psychologist who thrives in a collaborative educational environment and is eager to support students’ academic and emotional development. Beginning August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 7, 2027, you’ll work a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, providing essential psychological services within a single school building.

Your primary focus will be on a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, working on evaluations, crafting and participating in IEP processes, and implementing effective interventions and strategies to set students up for success. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful, student-centered psychological care in a school community that values your expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment results to inform intervention plans.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Design and support behavioral intervention plans and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ holistic growth.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding best practices in student mental health and learning supports.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working in schools and familiarity with the evaluation and IEP process.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
