The OpportunityThis is a broad Total Rewards role that requires depth where it matters most. Deep expertise in benefits and retirement plan administration is essential, along with working knowledge of leave administration, workers' compensation, paid time off, and compensation.
This role serves as a trusted resource to leaders and team members across the organization, translating regulatory requirements and business needs into scalable, well-run Total Rewards programs. Success requires curiosity, sound business judgment, and strong project ownership. You thrive in a build-and-scale environment, energized by improving programs, simplifying complexity, measuring outcomes, and continuously refining how Total Rewards supports the business.

Key ResponsibilitiesBenefits & Retirement (45%)
- Lead the administration and continuous improvement of NMG's health, welfare, and retirement programs across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
- Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for benefits and retirement programs, partnering with brokers, carriers, retirement providers, and third-party administrators to optimize plan performance and resolve complex issues.
- Lead benefit enrollments, communications, and team member education that enable informed decisions and maximizes the value of NMG's Total Rewards offerings.
- Own plan compliance, including ERISA requirements, annual testing, audits, and regulatory filings.
Leave, Workers' Compensation & Total Rewards Operations (30%)
- Serve as the liaison for the administration of leave of absence, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment programs, ensuring compliance while driving improvements where necessary.
- Partner with leaders, HR Business Partners, external vendors, and agencies to resolve complex cases, provide guidance, and lead timely outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen internal controls, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall team member experience across Total Rewards programs.
- Own and lead NMG's paid time off policies and practices.
Compensation (5%)
- Support compensation programs through job evaluations, market benchmarking, compensation analysis, and data-driven recommendations that enable informed pay decisions.
- Ensure compensation practices align with organizational objectives and applicable laws and regulations.
Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement (15%)
- Ensure Total Rewards programs remain compliant with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
- Prepare reporting, analyze trends, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions that improve compliance, operational effectiveness, and the overall team member experience.
- Develop and maintain scalable processes, documentation, and best practices that support the continued growth and maturity of the Total Rewards function.
