Role and Company Overview

Zoresco Equipment is seeking to hire an experienced Service/Repair technician. Relevant experience diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles and mechanical aptitude required.

Duties

• Perform assigned repairs in compliance with manufacturer standards, OEM guidelines, and company specifications
• Repair hydraulics on dump trucks, snowplows, liftgates, etc.
• Diagnose electrical issues
• Some fabricating and welding
• Repair generators, compressors, snowplows, cranes, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot any technical problems
• Maintain adequate knowledge of repair and upfitting procedures
• Safely move vehicles and equipment throughout the shop and property
• Test drive vehicles
• Properly maintain tools and equipment when performing service work
• Always follow all safety procedures and policies
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
• Read and comprehend all the work and installation instructions
• Effectively communicate with department personnel
• Maintain high quality and personal productivity
• Other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and mechanically inclined
• Able to use standard hand tools and read basic measurements
• Able to read and accurately follow instructions
• Have some fabricating and welding skills
• Able to test for proper operation
• Must have quality tools
• High school diploma or GED required
• Be willing to train and learn in depth on the repair of generators, compressors, snowplows, cranes, etc.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Must have a valid drivers' license and clean driving record
• Able to work in a shop area with exposure to varying temperatures
• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail Oriented and organization skills
• Have a "can do" attitude
