Position: Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

  • Earn $30.74 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
  • Home daily

You will drive
  • Late‑model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
  • Best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort and safety
  • Equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all
What you will do
  • Deliver medical supplies needed to provide patient care to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers
  • Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Up to 50 stops a week
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • 5 am to 6 am start time

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or able to obtain, a non‑exceptional interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑tireer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • English language proficiency (required by federal law)
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
  • Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive; ability to remain alert and operate safely is required, including responsibility for one’s own safety and that of others
Physical Requirements
  • The associate must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms; able to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
  • The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
