The Litigation Coordinator is responsible for general administrative and accounting functions within the Legal department.
*
* Essential Functions:
*** Conduct thorough reviews of litigation/claims documents to identify policy and claims details accurately.
* Process litigation/claims documents in a client portal, including tasks like opening, categorizing, archiving, and distributing materials to clients.
* Establish effective communication with external parties regarding litigation/claims documents, including email drafting and phone calls.
* Prioritize precision in data entry and document processing, with a focus on accuracy.
* Execute specialized processing tasks as required by the role.
* Assist in managing incoming calls requiring additional by gathering information from caller and directing callers to the appropriate resource.
* Maintain a foundational understanding of SNC's products and markets.
** Additional Responsibilities:
*** Offer administrative support to management as required.
* Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as needed or requested.
** Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
*** Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* Proficiency in computer usage.
* Adaptability to handle a mix of responsibilities.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to handle numerous tasks at once.
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* Strong customer service acumen.
* Solid organizational abilities.
* Keen attention to detail.
** Education/
Experience:
*** High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* Some college education is preferred.
* Prior experience in an insurance company or agency is advantageous.#LI-Hybrid
