Essential Functions- Set up claim files by obtaining information via phone, fax or email from clients or borrowers
- Assign an appraiser in the system for each claim received
- Receive appraisal information for claims filed
- Handle re‑titling for total loss, theft, and skip claims
- Keep track of total loss and skip recovery inventory on Excel spreadsheets
- Keep total loss procedures current based on state mandates
- Prepare departmental invoices for payment and obtain approval from manager for payment
- Provide clerical support to the department
- Good customer service skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Document scanning and upload tools
- Email and internal communication platforms
- Invoice and payment tracking systems
- 1+ year of clerical or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking and reporting)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication with internal and external partners
- Claims processing or auto title experience
- Knowledge of total loss and skip claim terminology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
