Position: Sr. Program Client Services Analyst (Accounting/Finance) - State National

Senior Client Service Business Analyst – Program Client Services

The Senior Client Service Business Analyst – Program Client Services will provide strategic business analysis services to Program Services (Program Analyst-Accounting/Finance). The focus of this position is to work with the business units to gain an in‑depth understanding of the customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates to design system efficiencies to increase overall results within the organization.

The Senior Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reviewing assigned business processes from end‑to‑end to characterize and address operational, financial and technological risks. Responsibilities will include a full range of pursuits in the development of division solutions (i.e. CRM), from large scale project management and strategic design to leading project teams in an effort to maintain data integrity within the system.

Essential

Functions
  • Responsible for reviewing submissions from the brokerage community/market
  • Assist with quotes, submissions, policy issuance and endorsements workflow
  • Review underwriting guidelines on submissions and escalating issues accordingly
  • Issue binders/slips and invoices
  • Monitor facultative and treaty reinsurance contracts to ensure timely and accurate settlements of monies owed
  • Reconcile cash balances monthly, researching and clearing discrepancies
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure premiums are recorded, collected and settled
  • File setup and maintenance of the submissions received
  • Support claims administration activities including funding coordination, invoice validation, and financial reconciliation in partnership with claims stakeholders
  • Assist in the facilitation of internal and external audits by coordinating documentation, tracking requests, and supporting timely responses
  • Perform financial reconciliations across premiums, claims, and reinsurance activity to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with underwriting, claims, audit, accounting, and brokers to support efficient program execution and process improvement
  • Ad hoc reinsurance projects as needed
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's in Business, Accounting and/or Finance. Master’s is a plus but not necessary.
  • Strong MS Excel and Word skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills needed to communicate with internal executives and external partners
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • In‑office:
    Monday through Wednesday. WFH:
    Thursday and Friday (Hybrid)

Compensation

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job‑relevant education, job‑relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors.
