Position: Mental Health Therapist – LCSW / LPC / LMFT / Licensed Psychologist

Open to:
Contractor, Part-Time and Full-Time

Salt & Light Psychological Services seeks a licensed therapist to provide compassionate, evidence‑based outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence‑based psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan, including clinical screening, assessment, and treatment planning.
  • Conduct psychotherapy intakes using trauma‑informed, client‑centered approaches.
  • Deliver ongoing individual, family, and/or couples therapy, utilizing modalities such as CBT and motivational interviewing.
  • Collaborate with physicians, schools, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional practice guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and continuing education to strengthen clinical competencies.
  • (Licensed Psychologists only): Psychologists will also conduct psychological/psycho educational testing and assessment, including test administration, scoring, interpretation, and report writing, as part of their clinical role.
Requirements
  • Active LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist in the State of Texas.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience providing therapy in outpatient, community mental health, or similar settings.
  • Strong skills in psychotherapy intakes, treatment planning, crisis assessment, and managing complex cases.
  • Ability to engage clients with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and strong clinical judgment.
  • Geriatric experience a plus.
  • (Licensed Psychologists only): Must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an APA‑accredited university/program.
Work Hours
  • May require some weekends and later hours based on caseload; schedule can be augmented to accommodate.
  • Combination of in‑person and telehealth sessions, based on patient preference.
