Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM + rotating Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Position Pay Range $27.29 - $35.18
Summary/Objective:
Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.
Essential FunctionsThis position has no supervision responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThis job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects,tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk andhear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Job QualificationsMinimum Qualifications /
Experience:
- Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray- preferred
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
None required for this position.
