The RoleWe are looking for a Marketing Technology Manager who blends hands‑on digital marketing execution with advanced technical proficiency in marketing systems, data, and automation. This role owns our marketing technology (martech) infrastructure, ensures accurate tracking and integrations, drives website and conversion improvements, and enables growth through data‑driven decision‑making and AI‑enabled workflows.
This is a highly technical, hands‑on role — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, analytics, automation, and systems architecture.
What You’ll Do Own the Marketing Technology Ecosystem- Integrate and optimize martech platforms (CRM, automation, analytics, website CMS).
- Maintain tracking integrity across systems; troubleshoot data flow issues and platform inconsistencies.
- Partner with IT and data teams to translate business needs into technical configurations and integrations.
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across email, paid search/social, SEO/SEM, direct mail, chat/SMS/voicemail.
- Ensure channel execution aligns with KPIs, attribution models, and quarterly business goals.
- Own GA4, GTM, and tag management strategy: event tracking, custom dimensions, attribution modeling, funnel analysis.
- Develop dashboards, insights, and recommendations for leadership.
- Establish testing plans and measurement frameworks.
- Diagnose website performance issues and guide phased site improvements.
- Run A/B tests, evaluate heatmaps, and collaborate with developers to improve UX and conversion performance.
- Support technical SEO efforts (schema, site structure, indexation, performance metrics).
- Build and refine audience segmentation, lead scoring, and nurture journeys.
- Deploy automation workflows and AI‑driven efficiencies responsibly (workflow automation, targeting logic, operational AI tools).
- Establish SLAs, audit deliverables, validate performance data, and elevate discrepancies.
- Hold agencies and contractors accountable for technical accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Support junior team members with clear expectations and ongoing coaching.
- Maintain calendars, project plans, deadlines, budgets, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to CAN‑SPAM, CCPA/CPRA, CASL, and data hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain list integrity, consent tracking, and compliant communication practices.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including 2+ years leading marketing operations, complex programs, or martech systems.
- Deep proficiency with GA4, GTM, CRM systems, automation platforms, and analytics tools.
- Experience integrating platforms, managing APIs, and troubleshooting tracking/data issues.
- Hands‑on familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript (or strong tag management proficiency).
- Strong Excel/Sheets and BI skills (dashboards, cohort analysis, attribution insights).
- Working knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid digital channels.
- Proven CRO experience: A/B testing, UX simplification, analytics‑driven improvements.
- Confidence managing external vendors and enforcing SLAs.
- Understanding of compliance standards and data governance.
- DFW residency and ability to meet DCG’s remote‑work tech standards.
