Job Responsibilities- Handle all aspects of client file management, including daily processing of file submissions sent to State National.
- Program inbound client files in an HP‑UX Informix/Cobol environment, analyzing and diagnosing issues with daily file submissions.
- Process data file conversions using third‑party ETL software and ensure accurate transformation.
- Coordinate projects, set priorities, and report status for concurrent projects in both production and test environments.
- Communicate with clients regarding questions, clarifications, issues, and resolutions.
- Set up new clients in test and live systems.
- Handle insurance conversion files for new accounts and complete application system changes for new and existing clients in third‑party data conversion software.
- College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
- At least 4 years of experience in QA and/or programming.
- Proficiency in Cobol, Informix ISQL/4GL, or ETL tools.
- Experience with operating systems and scripting: vi, HP‑UX/UNIX, Shell scripting, Linux, .NET.
- Knowledge of SQL and database/file structures.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
