Job Description Experienced, HUD/Affordable - Regional Manager Needed
Our national multi-family management company seeks an experienced, dynamic Regional Manager with a Whatever it Takes attitude to oversee fiscal accountability and personnel management of HUD / Affordable multi-property portfolio.
This Regional Manager road warrior is responsible for the successful day-to-day financial, administrative, and maintenance operations of a multi-property portfolio while assuring the company's standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. Affordable and Low-income housing tax credit experience REQUIRED.
Responsibilities- Provide direction and leadership to property managers.
- Responsible for providing coaching, counseling, and performance reviews to direct reports.
- Ensure communities are meeting all financial, operation, and business metrics.
- Work with Managing Partners to prepare annual budgets and set property goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that Company standards, initiatives and procedures are operating efficiently.
- Ensure communities are thriving and providing positive tenant experiences.
- Managing inspections with all associated agencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years as a Regional Manager (Tax Credit and HUD project-based Section
8). - One Site Experience is a MUST.
- Managing at least 1000+ units preferred.
- College degree preferred.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) a plus.
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
- Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- The candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
