The Siratt Women's Center at Texas Health Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Hospital has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN. 9 bed L&D unit and 4 bed OB ED, 3 OR suites unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month Level III NICU Maternal Designation III Wide range of patients and plan of care – nitrous oxide, midwifery, and high-risk patients Excellent total compensation package, including competitive salary, benefit package and growth opportunities tailored to your particular area of interest.

Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN
- Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS – within 90 days of hire NRP – within 90 days of hire NRPA - within 90 days of hire CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 1 year of RN experience in L&D strongly preferred
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
