• Bedford, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity on the campus of Texas Health HEB. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P's & follow-up visits.
• Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.
• Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions
• Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients
• Document using EMR system.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

IF YOU:

• Enjoy working night shift, 7PM to 7AM, 7 ON, 7 OFF
• Have active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making
• Are a Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Have ACLS certification
• Have 2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU/CVICU required.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Master's Degree Nurse Practitioner Required
• Experience:
  
  1 Year As a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. Preferred
• Licenses and
  
  Certifications:
  
  NP - Nurse Practitioner Must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire Required
• Skills:

ADA Requirements:
