Pediatric Emergency Dept Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Supervisor Schedule
Full‑Time Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Summary and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions within the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and serves as a resource for staff, supporting an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient‑centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric (ENP) Course obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- BSN required
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse experience, including Charge/Leadership RN experience
