The Assistant Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse) will support and manage Nursing Services, ensure compliance with federal, state, and company quality standards, and assume clinical operational responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Nursing. The role involves conducting the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under the scope of the State’s Nurse Practice Act.

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state.
• Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Five years in long‑term or acute health care preferred.
• At least two years of nursing supervisory experience required.

• Coordinate plans for the total care of each resident, ensuring compliance with physician orders, governmental regulations, and facility resident care policies.
• Communicate and interpret policies and procedures to nursing staff, and monitor staff practices and implementation.
• Participate in all admissions decisions, and visit prospective residents before admissions, as needed.
• Participate in daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status, census changes, personnel issues, and resident complaints or concerns.
• Ensure delivery of compassionate quality care and nursing supervision, evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage, absence of odors, general cleanliness, prevention of pressure wounds, and maintenance of optimal resident functions.
