Work HoursPRN Days; 8–10-hour shifts, 1 – 2 days per week

- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing required
- RN – Registered Nurse required upon hire
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
- Certification in CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse) OR CWOCN (Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse) OR CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse) within 6 months of hire
- 2 years nursing experience required
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
- Possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
- Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and take action to improve those processes.
- Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.
- Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.
- Assist staff to maintain current knowledge and competence for WOC patients through orientation, educational programs, role modeling, consultation and review of policies and procedures according to national guidelines.
