Work Location

Work Hours

PRN Days; 8–10-hour shifts, 1 – 2 days per week

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree Nursing required
  • RN – Registered Nurse required upon hire
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
  • Certification in CWCN (Certified Wound Care Nurse) OR CWOCN (Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse) OR CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse) within 6 months of hire
  • 2 years nursing experience required
  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
  • Possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
What You Will Do
  • Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and take action to improve those processes.
  • Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.
  • Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.
  • Assist staff to maintain current knowledge and competence for WOC patients through orientation, educational programs, role modeling, consultation and review of policies and procedures according to national guidelines.
