Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022

Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call

• Observation Unit
• Fast paced (typical stay is 24-48 hours)
• Small unit that specializes in both obs level patients from med/surg to intermediate level of care

• Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

• RN
  - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
• BCLS
  - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
• ACLS
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AndNIHSS
  - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And
• CPI
  - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
