PRN Level III/per diem, Night Shift; 7 pm-7 am; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirement NICU Department highlights:

The Siratt Women's Center at Texas Health Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Hospital has a part-time opportunity for an experienced NICU RN. 16 bed NICU unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month Level III NICU Maternal Designation III

Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred RN
- Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required NRP
- Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days of hire NRPA
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of hire CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required Current NICU experience strongly preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
