Compensation
$10.00 to $14.00 per hour. Employees can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, potentially $2.00 per hour in addition to hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions, handling a wide variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open and close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items in compliance with established policies and regulations.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully completes the assigned training.
- Completes other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
- Proficiency with firearms and ability to become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from storage areas.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with customers, be team‑oriented, and serve others.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers may earn between 2 % and 8 % commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Further details are provided during the interview process.
Other Information- Employee agreement to a binding arbitration agreement to resolve disputes.
