Bilingual Master Control Operator

Daystar is a Christian Organization seeking an experienced Bilingual Master Control Operator who will be responsible for reviewing religious programs before air to ensure FCC compliance. Maintain daily playlist and monitor outbound channel feed. Must be committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

12p-12a Friday – Sunday. Must be English/Spanish bilingual, no exceptions. Proven skills will be required.

• Monitor multiple transmitter sites via remote control
• Ingest new material
• Report program issues immediately to management
• Other duties as assigned

• Be able to sit for long periods / Keen focus on religious programming
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to multitask

• Quick thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
• A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who wants to join a ministry with a heart for the world
• Spanish required (must be fluent in Spanish and English language)

• Society of Broadcast Engineers Operator Certification required
• If you do not have the above Certification, you must be able to obtain Operator Certification within 6 months (this is a position requirement that must be met). Daystar provides all the study material, cost, etc.

• Must be able to sit at workstation for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work shifts assigned.
• Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
• Must be able to work extended hours during special events (required).
