PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Reporting to the Dispatch Coordinator, the Blood Component Courier (Courier) is responsible for performing product retrieval and supply delivery as needed during the assigned shift. Under direct supervision, the Courier will ensure the timely pick up of unprocessed blood collections, while adhering to all regulations and procedures governing the storage and transportation of blood products, consistent with the goals and objectives of the department and Carter Blood Care.
A valid, Texas driver’s license is required, as well as an acceptable driving record (as specified in the current Carter Blood Care Vehicle Safety Loss Control Guide).
Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.
